Mohawk Trail Regional High School is a public high school serving students in grades 7-12 in the nine towns of Ashfield, Buckland, Charlemont, Colrain, Hawley, Heath, Plainfield, Rowe, and Shelburne, Massachusetts. Located on Route 112 in Buckland, the school serves approximately 580 students. Students come to Mohawk from six regional elementary schools: Buckland-Shelburne Regional Elementary School, Colrain Central School, Hawlemont Regional School (Charlemont and Hawley), Sanderson Academy (Ashfield and Plainfield), Rowe Elementary School, and Heath Elementary School, as well as from neighboring communities through the School Choice program.
