2005 Efforts
Three initiatives have been launched and completed in 2005 under Mohawk Schools 2010:
- Expense Streamlining
- Business Development
- Contingency Planning
- Proposed Changes to the Regional Agreement
The expense streamlining initiative is focused on identifying and implementing operational practices that maximize financial efficiencies.
The business development initiative is focused on creating alternative use of classroom space in order to generate new revenues.
The contingency planning initiative is focused on preparing an objective action plan in the event that a school closure becomes necessary.
